Chiefs Boys Basketball Celebrates their Senior Night

Cardinal Gibbons Boys Basketball Senior Spotlight Ahead of Tonight's Senior Night Game vs pompano beach

As the Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs prepare to take the court for Senior Night, the spotlight shines brightly on the boys and girls basketball teams' graduating players. Tonight, we honor their dedication, leadership, and contributions to the program, both on and off the court. Each senior's journey represents a unique chapter in Chiefs basketball history, and we’re excited to celebrate their achievements before the final buzzer sounds on their high school careers.

Tao Schreiber, a transfer from American Heritage will be celebrating his Senior Year with us at Cardinal Gibbons. He has continued his passion of playing basketball with Cardinal Gibbons in the hopes of being able to attend a state championship. One of his favorite high school memories was, “the first game back from an injury last year.” After high school, Tao plans to continue playing basketball at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He said, “Being a part of the basketball team has taught me that my way of doing things is not always the best way of doing it.” Tao would like to thank his entire family and all the coaches he’s had throughout the years. He agrees that playing basketball has helped him get to where he is today, and is thankful for all the opportunities he’s been given.

Senior 2: Marcus Perrier

Under the guidance of Coach Bill he deeply appreciates everything he has learned. He said that his favorite memory with the team was, “winning districts as a freshman in high school.” He plans to continue playing basketball after high school, bringing the many life lessons he's learned with him. He'd like to thank God and everyone who has helped him and supported him throughout his basketball career so far.

Good luck to the Boys Cardinal Gibbons basketball team tonight! The Boys play at home vs Pompano Beach at 7:30pm. Make sure to come out and show your support on this special senior night celebration!
